The countertop feature serves as an area for decanting or serving wines. Coastal’s waterfall cascade wine rack is a great choice in showcasing wines at the center of large wine rooms. It also maximizes storage space and creates a customized appeal to the wine cellar.
High Reveal Display & Wooden Cases – Perfect for Large Wine Collection
Single bottle storage racks with a high reveal display row are featured along the entire length of the interior walls. A high reveal wine rack display pitches wine bottles to a 15 degree angle, that offers a full view of the various wine labels on display.

This racking solution is an excellent tool for organizing and managing a large wine collection, since like wines can be stored above and below the high reveal area.
A total of 36 wood case openings are installed for wooden case storage. All openings are designed with rolling shelves, for ease of access. Wine racks with large openings are provided to accommodate a total of 136 magnums (or 1.5L). All of the wine racking solutions rest on a 1 ½” toe-kick, that keeps the bottles off the floor and protects them against damage.
True Radius Curved Wine Rack for the Corners
To utilize corner areas of the Villa Park Anaheim Hills wine room, Coastal’s master wine cellar builders installed true radius curved corners. Corner racks with true radius curves are cut from a single piece of solid wood. They create a streamlined and seamless effect between walls. With true radius curved corner wine rack, there is no segmented or angled appearance in the corners of a wine room.

Installing the Wine Cellar Cooling System by Wine Guardian
A climate control system is a crucial component of proper wine storage. The unit must be integrated into the wine cellar design and wine cellar construction, to ensure that the selected refrigeration unit suits the cooling needs and requirements of the wine storage space.
Wine Guardian Wine Cellar Cooling System
For this particular custom wine cellars project, the Coastal team supplied a self-contained ducted air handler, from Wine Guardian. Barolo Wine Cellar Door by Coastal
Proper wine cellar construction and wine cellar installation are crucial to creating the ideal environment for cellaring wines. A wine storage space must be well-insulated and tightly sealed, in order to maintain the desired climate conditions for storing and aging wines.
For this custom wine cellars Villa Park Anaheim Hills project, master wine cellar builders installed a dual paned Barolo wine cellar glass door. Coastal Custom Wine Cellars use dual paned glass on their wine cellar door to provide better insulation, and to prevent condensation build up. Additionally, their doors are equipped with an automatic door bottom that seals the gap at the bottom of the entry door.
An automatic door bottom is a mechanical device affixed to the bottom edge of the door. It has a retractable feature that pops up when the door is opened, and snaps back down when the door is shut. This automatic device not only provides a complete seal to the wine room, but also prevents damage to the flooring.
In order to achieve the right balance of temperature and humidity levels, a wine cellar must be carefully designed and constructed. At Coastal Custom Wine Cellars, they provide their clients with a free three dimensional design package of the project. Wine cellar construction takes place as soon as the client okays the proposed design plan.
